history;
• Marina was born on the outside, somewhere in the mountains where it was thickly wooded and easily hidden from prying eyes.
• As Marina reached eighteen months of life, her mother became pregnant again, though halfway through this pregnancy, Marina’s father went missing. It is unknown what happened to him, if he left or was captured, or if he was dead.
• Marina’s mother was determined to make it through the pregnancy and raise both her children alone, though her still infant daughter did everything she could to help out.
• Finally the day came when Marina’s mother gave birth to a small son, a younger brother for Marina who would be called Dorian.
• The three lived happily, the mother and daughter who silently longed for the return of their mate and father and the shaky little boy who knew nothing of the man that would have helped raise him.
• When Dorian was three months of age, the idle sickness he’d been born with overtook him, and he died within the day he was struck ill. Having already lost her mate to an unknown cause, Marina’s mother lapsed into depression at the death of her tiny son.
• It was then, when Marina was not even two years of age that she began fending for herself, for her mother had forsaken her, drowned in her own despair to deep to see her daughter’s needs.
• Marina left less than a year later, finding it painful that her mother didn’t even acknowledge her departure.
- this is my last character for a while, but i had such inspiration to make her :3
