Lights are, in stereotype, kind and honest and courageous, selfless and with a tendency to generosity. They are nonviolent, choosing to end conflicts with words instead of actions; they are friendly and hospitable, as well as incredibly loyal. They are on good standing with Neutrals, and despair of the darks who are, in concept, their mirror opposites.
