History: Vega was born in captivity, bred for showing. Her mother was a beautiful black, and had been a successful show horse, though she died during the birthing. Vega was a very large foal, born a dark bay. She was fostered by a palomino pony mare, who had been dumped into the backyard as a lost cause. She bit and kicked whenever humans got near her, it surprised them all when she accepted the filly. She grew up to be nearly as mean-spirited as her foster mother. When she came to two years, she was stripped from the field with her mother and forced into the stable, where she lived for two months before the humans tried riding her. Once saddled and bridled, they stuck a trainer on her. Barely one lap around the arena, and she had him off. He couldn't get out of the arena quickly enough; she trampled him and jumped the fence to freedom.
