Name: Hyde Age: 5 years Gender: stallion Breed: paint x unknown (probably thoroughbred) Height: 16.2 hh Coat Color: Black frame overo Mane/tail Color: black \ black Eye Color: right: brown left: blue Markings: bald Alignment: light Personality: Guarded, hot-headed and judgmental, Hyde can be quiet the shell to crack. He built a tough wall around himself so he could never get hurt. Not for the fear of getting hurt again, but for the fear of getting hurt for the first time. In reality he is a very simplistic, flirtatious brute. Let him get warmed up to you (that is, if you're a mare) and the compliments will never stop rolling off of his tongue. Some like being showered in the attention and others seem to spend their entire life trying to avoid it. Either way, he never knows when to stop, like most brutes, and will most likely flirt the life out of a femme before she actually falls for him. That's another one of his traits. He's a hopeless romantic. Sure, he's attractive on the outside, sweet and funny on the inside, but most people are too lazy to scratch beyond the surface to find the friendship or love he can provide. If someone actually scratches deep enough, there's no turning back. He might actually want to start taking things seriously with her.
If you're a stallion he might befriend you, even though it's very rare. Hyde often finds interest in colts that have yet to reach sexual maturity - that way he won't have to worry about dragging around a testosterone-filled lump of nine hundred pounds whenever they caught sight of a band of mares (besides, the ladies love kids (; ). With the few guy-friends he has, Hyde likes to spend his time gossiping about mares, telling dirty jokes and play fighting.
When Hyde is in the presence of younger foals (younger than the ones he would usually befriend), he begins to take on a whole different role than what he would have with a mare or friend. Hyde often annoys the mothers in his herd because he fills their offspring's minds with tall tales and promises to take them exploring when they are old enough.
All in all, he's very vulgar when around strangers, extremely romantic with mares, immature around his guy-friends and childish when with foals.
History: he was taught to not trust strangers by his estranged father, resulting in his hard outer-shell to equines he just met. his first mate was killed by a grasscat, which is probably why he can never stick to just one mare these days. he's sired several foals without knowing, which is another reason why he's still so careless with mares. his mother was a saint, which is why he's still a good guy under all the flirting and rudeness. he's never had a sibling, which is why he adores foals.
