CHALLENGES 047. A challenge is a blatant declaration of war: “character A challenges character B for character C.” It can be made over a mare or a territory, and does not include riddling of any sort. Alphas and Betas cannot be challenged for land, only for mares and foals. 048. All challenges are to made in Morrighan’s Bones, with no exceptions. If the challenge is not posted within this board, it will not be a valid steal regardless of time waited, et cetera. Please talk with an admin if this is an issue for you, plot-wise or what have you. 049. The period of time necessary to default on a challenge is three days for a mare or foal, four days for a mare and foal, and seven for a herdland. If a foal is below the age of one, they must be stolen with their mother! 050. If the challenged character replies within the allotted time, they have the choice of either defending themselves or surrendering.
RIDDLES 051. A riddle is a true stealth – the objective is to win the object of desire without engaging in any conflict. It can be made over a mare or a territory, and it is advised that it be as intricate as possible within reason. Alphas and Betas cannot be riddled for land, only for mares and foals. 052. Please see Rule 48; replace word “challenge(s)” with “riddle(s).” 053. Please see Rule 49; replace word “challenge” with “riddle.” 054. Please see Rule 50; replace word “challenged” with “riddled.”
COMBAT 055. Challenge- or riddle-related fighting is restricted to Conchobar Ridge. All fights outside of this board are invalid, and will be seen simply as sparring or random acts of violence. 056. Fight details will be planned between players, including the number of attacks per post and the number of dodges, as well as how long the fight will actually be – three posts each, five, six, et cetera. 057. Fight details will be included somewhere immediately-noticeable in the premiere post of the battle thread. Points will be deducted if this is not met. The challenging character is responsible. 058. The fight itself will be judged by a panel consisting of at least two administrators. If a tie-breaker – passcode part two: tea – is necessary, one of the Alphas will be asked to contribute their opinion. The criteria are based on the logic of attacks, injuries sustained, and post quality. 059. All verdicts are final. Exceptions are only made if the loser feels the decision was biased – the fight will then be reviewed and another verdict released to the public.
