In the year 2302, humans started to die out. Because of lack of land resources, food production slowed, and medical advances came to a halt. Wars break out all over the world, and so many nuclear missiles are launched at different countries that radiation sickness began to get twice as bad. In a worldwide epidemic, a horrible sickness spread through the humans, as contagious as the common cold and as deadly as the black plague. In a butterfly effect, humans began to die off. Only several humans stayed alive, somehow immune to the deadly virus.
At the end of their life, several scientists took their genetically altered experiments, 100’s of equines with things like wings, horns, strange colorings, and normal test subject equines overseas towards Canada, where the virus had not yet spread. However, not half way there, the scientists died because of the virus, and the ship wrecked on a deserted beach in America.
The equines began to take over the desolated land. One horse, found a land bridge that appeared for three days every season. The mare traveled across it until she found a large Isle. Dripping Heart took over Shadow’s Reign. The Isle became known as the Cadence Isles, home to genetically altered wild horses.
