DAILY LIFE 027. Only males of the appropriate age (minimum of 3 years) may claim territory. Females may only lead a herd through inheritance. 028. There are three territories for each alignment: one for the Alpha, one for the Beta, and one to be shared between three stallions. Alpha and Beta are to be auditioned for. If there are no vacancies otherwise, land must be stolen. Please refer to the Stealing and Fighting for more information on these matters, specifically, Rules 47 and 51. 029. To claim land, first check the herd rosters. There is one posted within each alignment’s territory, as well as one in each alignment’s status thread; the latter are located within the Catalogue, and are labeled according to alignment, i.e. Light, Neutral, and Dark. 030. Secondly, once you are sure that there is a position open, make a thread within the territory with “claim” specified somewhere within your thread title. This post does not have to be particularly lengthy, but please put some effort into it! 031. An admin will read your thread and once satisfied, will then add your stallion’s name to the appropriate rosters. From there, your stallion is free to claim mares and wage wars, et cetera! 032. Remember, however, that your stallion must be extremely active. If you do not make at least one post every week, your title will be revoked.
RELATIONS 033. Within the Darach Wood, a character may be approached by a maximum of three stallions. The choice of who to go with lies with the character. They may not be force-claimed or force-bred. 034. Within the Fuamnach, a character may also be approached by a maximum of three stallions. The choice of who to go with is not left to the character. They may be force-claimed and may be force-bred; this does not require the player’s consent. 035. The rule of force-claim is not first come, first serve. Whichever stallion touches the mare or stallion first is the stallion that has successfully claimed them. If there is dispute over who is successful or not, then a battle may be in order. Please refer to the Stealing and Fighting for more information on these matters, specifically Rules 47, 48, and 51. 036. A stallion may only approach three potential herdmembers at any one time; this count is the sum of both threads in the Wood and those in the Fuamnach. Exceeding this limit will result in one of the excessive threads being negated at random – you will not have a choice of which thread your stallion is pulled from. 037. Children less than one year old must go with their parent. Over one year, they are considered independent and may be claimed separately.
